I wrote a recent article on marketing affiliate programs with articles. The links in the resource section have the kind of step by step information you are looking for. Article marketing is one of the best entry level ways of affiliate marketing. You could also look at PPC but you’re talking more expense and needing a daily ad budget. I’m including the URL below. There are step by step video tutorials about how to become an affiliate
To be completely honest I would only recommend two locations. Both require a membership but do provide complete step-by-step training and you receive actual support from the owners and the community which really helps. I am an active member of both and would not trade it for anything online.
The first one has high quality videos that walk you through every step in great detail. Each video is over 40 minutes packed with very good information. I personally like this as I found out it is easier to learn from watching rather then reading.
