Affiliate programs are meant to be a win for everyone involved:

* a win for the client who is given exposure to something she may not have known about otherwise

* a win for the affiliate who gets to share a great product or program with her readers and possibly earn a commission for doing so

* and, of course, a win for the product or program creator as they get more exposure, and potentially make more sales in both the long, and short, term.

Affiliate programs are in their basic a duplicating system. The company that starts the affiliate program offers all the affiliates the same tools, the same URLs, the same pictures and basically the same content.You as a new affiliate have to duplicate your sponsor in order to succeed.

Disadvantage: If you are new to internet marketing and affiliate programs you should know that the search engines, for example: Google, Yahoo or MSN, do not like duplications. The search engines will only index one website and ignore the rest, or worse, send the website to the sandbox.

Hi. Is there a program that I should join to get the sort of ads that Myspace.com gets or what should I do? Right now, I’m affiliated with stores like Macy’s and Amazon.com but will I make enough money with those affiliate programs or should I do a pay-per-click type of thing? Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money online, and even if you don’t have a list of customers who buy every time you email them, you can still make money with Internet based affiliate marketing with this cool tactic that I use. I actually have taught my mom to do this in several niches and she uses it to bring in a couple thousand dollars a month. She’s wanting to retire and works a full time job, so I knew I had to come up with something she could do fairly easy.

First, you’ll need to pick a pretty broad niche. Like health, hobbies, etc. Yes, you can even use Internet marketing. That’s actually the niche I use this tactic for.

What is niche affiliate marketing? Before you start making big bucks through niche affiliate marketing you need to understand what niche marketing actually is. Niche marketing means you need to focus on people who are specifically looking for a particular service or product. Many look to dominate niche affiliate marketing by focusing on a general topic, but by definition niche marketing means focusing on more specific markets within that general topic.
